I bid you adieu
08/18/08

It comes with heavy heart for me to say that O’deer is over. I can no longer
afford to put any more time into it.

Becoming a comic artist was a life-long dream. Ever since I was a small child reading the Sunday funnies or curling up with a Peanuts book, comics were the escape from my everyday world. Creating O’ deer was the result of making my dream come true. It was truly a labor of love and I enjoyed putting it out there.

O’deer allowed me to meet some amazing people. I met fellow artists,
musicians and writers. During this great trip I’ve developed wonderful
friendships that last to this day and have become family. I was able to travel
to places I always wanted to go, and stay for free! (That helps especially when you’re in London!)

Any artist would be grateful to have fans. I’ve been humbled by people who
enjoyed my work. Not only doing this for the love of being an artist, but
meeting the people who not only became fans of O’ deer, but friends as well.

Inspired to become an artist and enjoying all the experiences that I have had,
it is a great joy to be an inspiration to younger artist looking to express
themselves with their art. They in turn inspired me to carry on.

I’m moving forward onto newer projects and continuing my artistic dreams. I
want to personally thank everyone that has ever helped me pursue this dream in any way, and I hope I was able to put a little laughter into your life.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Cheers!

J. Groovi Grevelli
